Sensor: Floor

A thermostat is a required component for electric radiant floor heating systems.

This thermostat is a fully programmable electronic thermostat for controlling the temperature by means of an NTC sensor that is placed within the floor.

The fully programmable thermostat is capable of switching on your floor heating system at pre-determined times for each day of the week. It is possible to set four periods (called events) each day with different temperatures. From the factory a default schedule is programmed that is suitable for most installations. Unless you change these settings the thermostat will operate according to this default program. Setting lower temperatures during times that the room is unoccupied will lower your energy costs without reducing the comfort.

The thermostat has an adaptive function that automatically changes the start time of a heating period so that the desired temperature is reached at the time that you set. After five days the adaptive function has determined when the heating must be switched on. The programmable thermostat includes an integrated Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI, Class A) and features dual voltage capabilities, suitable for 120 and 240 V, 50/60 Hz supply.

NOTE: Multiple cables, mats or panels may be controlled by one thermostat up to 16 amps. To view the amount of amps used per system check the data listed with each product.
